Bojan Krkic: Barcelona Will Win 2-1 At Real Madrid

As El Clasico draws nearer, players from both camps are ramping up the mind games by predicting the outcome and Barcelona prodigy, Bojan Krkic has joined in on the fun as he forecasts a win over Real Madrid on Saturday.

But the back-up striker, like many others in the Camp Nou brigade, is just happy with the knowledge that the Blaugrana will still be leading the Primera Division regardless of the result.

“A draw or a win would serve us well, but I hope we can win 2-1,” he said in an interview with TV3.

“But whatever happens we will continue to be the league leaders,” he added.

The 18-year-old then gave a brief assessment of what has been a personally difficult season so far.

“I did not expect to be playing so little and I thought I would have more of a leading role, but [Pep] Guardiola has faith in me. I have accepted it positively and if I make the most of it, it will help me improve in the long run,” he explained.

“I have the good fortune of getting a lot of support from the fans, but I want to give back all the affection by scoring goals for a club that have given me so much.

“I would like to continue here for many years to come, but right now, I just want to focus on the team,” he ended.
